Kindergarten started last week for Jackson. The kids all looked so cute in their uniforms, and of course we made Jackson pose until he couldn't take it anymore. He is attending a Dual-Immersion Spanish/English program. In Kindergarten, they start out with 90% Spanish, though for part of the time there is a teacher who helps explain what is going on in English. The percentage of class time in Spanish goes down each year by 10% , but these young kids apparently begin understanding within weeks. Amazing how their brains work!!
